The Argentinean singer Nuria García was born in 1973 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In 1987 she started her experience in choirs taking part of the "Lenguas Vivas - John F. Kennedy Choir" which she performed in Japan (Shizuoka and Tokyo) in the "IV International Festival of Young Musicians" where this choir was the first Hispanic-spoken member.
From 1990 until 1991 she played one of the principal roles in the Musical for children "Saltimbanquis" based in the tale "The Bremen Town Musicians" by the Grimm brothers, with music by Chico Buarque.
From 1991 until 1994 she studied at the National Conservatory of Music "Carlos López Buchardo", in Buenos Aires, in classical field. In this time she sang with "Gaudeamus Choral" which she toured around Argentina.
In 1995 she joined the choir of the "Cultural Center Gral. San Martin". Its most important concerts were:

In 1996 this choir toured around Europe (Spain, Italy, France and Switzerland) giving a lot of concerts in theaters, churches, etc.
In this same year, she won the first price in the "Hugo Del Carril Tango Competition".
In August 1998 she took part of the "Arena's Choral Tour" around México and New York.
From 1998 until 2000, she was member of the "America's Choral" and one year later starts singing in the "SADAIC Choir" till 2001 when she came to Amsterdam. With this choir she performed with several famous artists such as Victor Heredia, Opus 4, Peteco Carabajal and Ariel Ramirez. In December of 2000, she sang the "Misa Criolla and Navidad Nuestra" with the great singer Mercedes Sosa in Luján, Argentina.
During 2000 she also took private lessons with the popular singer Verónica Condomí. At the same time, she started performing with "Dos en Punto" a duet that plays tangos, milongas and valses in different places in Buenos Aires and nowadays in Amsterdam.
Presently, she is the lead vocals of Ay! Juana, a Latin-American Music Group that performs regularly around Europe.
Nuria García has appeared with a large number of groups and has participated in theater productions, festivals and various concerts.
