At age ten, she began flute lessons with her school music teacher, Mimi Herrero at Liceo Franco Argentino Jean Mermoz. When she turned fifteen, she studied piano and intensive voice training with the Argentinian composer Carmen Baliero. In the seven years of work with her she learned over all how to be personal and creative in her interpretations. In 1997, she developed an interest in drumming during one of her usual trips around Latin- America, where she later learned to build her own drums.
For the following three years she studied percussion with Santiago Diaz, and their work together covered an extensive range of music containing Latin and African rhythms. In 2002, she met the Peruvian percussionist Wilmer Palomino with whom she studied Afro-Peruvian rhythms and the technique of the "cajon". Her first professional experience was with "Bamabara", a group of experiment and research of percussion and voice in 2000. In 2001, she formed "Me Cumbe" a south- American band, and performed throughout Uruguay. The next year a few musicians collaborated with them to form "Pura Canela Fina" and continued to perform in theaters in Buenos Aires During the same year she was invited to play with Jaime Torres in his show "Pa bailar y escuchar" as a "cajon" percussionist. In addition, she also took part in the recording of "Germinario" from Baltazar Santillan. Since 2002, she has been teaching private percussion lessons and giving workshops in Argentina, Spain and the Netherlands.
